Our Story
Our Story
William Douglas Mabe, commonly known as Doug, began his cleaning journey in the early 1990s while working in his family’s furniture business near Atlantic City, New Jersey. After honorable discharge from the U.S. Army and Florida National Guard, he discovered professional cleaning while restoring showroom furniture.
Inspired by the results, Doug mastered the trade and launched a successful cleaning business, later selling it and relocating to Florida.
In 2019, after his son graduated from Suncoast High School in Riviera Beach, Florida, Doug founded Surface Pro Cleaning, which now thrives in West Palm Beach and Boca Raton.
SteamPro of Florida Inc is Doug’s third business venture, founded with longtime friend and partner Mikel Towns.
Mikel brings extensive experience in construction and customer service, along with precise scheduling and on‑time project execution. A longtime Orlando resident, he is passionate about building lasting customer relationships in Central Florida.
